Marko Kivisto Bio

Marko started AVALT in 2015 with Mark and Ian. Prior to starting AVALT, Marko was a Principal at Bain Capital for eight years and was a senior member of the firm’s TMT group. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Marko was a Manager at Bain & Company for six years and was a member of Bain & Company’s Private Equity Practice. In 2014, Marko was the SVP of Corporate Development at C&S Wholesale Grocers, where he drove the M&A effort to acquire and integrate multiple acquisitions. Marko received an MBA from the Wharton Business School, where he was a Palmer Scholar and the Ford Scholar for having the highest overall academic standing. Marko also received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, where he graduated as the University Gold Medalist for the highest overall academic standing.
