Marcus Porter Bio

Marcus is a Managing Director in the Investment Advisory division at Alvarium. He has over 20 years of experience in providing independent investment advice to a wide range of individuals, families, trusts and charities in the UK and overseas. Marcus specialises in the design and implementation of optimal investment strategies, providing impartial advice on all stages of the investment process, from defining investment policies, to setting investment strategy, investment manager selection and ongoing portfolio reviews. Prior to joining Alvarium in 2020, Marcus spent 9 years at PwC and led the PwC Investment team in the UK. He has also previously worked as an investment adviser at Deloitte, Arthur Andersen and HSBC, having graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) in 1999.
