Julian Culhane Bio

Julian is a Partner at Alvarium. In 2011 he founded Lepe Partners, an independent merchant bank focused on the media, internet and consumer sectors. He was also Managing Director of Global M&A Group at Jefferies and, prior to that, Head of European Media Investment Banking at Jefferies (2007-2011). Previously, Julian was Co-Founder of LongAcre Partners, Europe’s leading mid-market media corporate finance house, which he sold to Jefferies in 2007. Here he completed more than 100 mid-market media transactions (excess of $15bn of value). Prior to this, he was CFO of lastminute.com PLC, where he led three rounds of private equity fundraisings and dual LSE / Nasdaq listing in 2000. Julian is a qualified Chartered Accountant (PWC).
