Shoba Rampersaud Bio

Shoba is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Aetos Capital. In that role, she oversees all of the firm’s financial reporting, regulatory and compliance matters, as well as handling investor onboarding. She was formerly an auditing professional with Grant Thornton LLP; Assistant Controller, Genco Shipping & Trading (an NYSE listed transportation company); and Vice President, Finance & Accounting for Chemical Transportation Group, Inc. Shoba is a New York Licensed CPA. She holds a BS in accounting (summa cum laude) from Hunter College, City University of New York. In addition to her work, Shoba is a trustee and officer of a New York City-based non-profit and is the recipient of the 2015 Mayoral Service Recognition Award for efforts to improve communities in NYC.
