Shawn Vick Bio

Mr. Vick is a Partner at AE Industrial and is focused on the sourcing, negotiation and strategic positioning of portfolio investments. Mr. Vick is currently acting as CEO of Global Jet Capital, an AE Industrial portfolio investment and one of the largest providers of financing solutions to the private aircraft market. Prior to joining AE industrial in 2014, Mr. Vick served as Executive Vice President at Hawker Beechcraft until its ownership transition to Textron in 2013. Prior to Hawker Beechcraft, Mr. Vick was President & CEO of Landmark Aviation Airport Services, the FBO subsidiary of Landmark Aviation – a former portfolio company of AE Industrial. Mr. Vick has over 30 years of operating experience in the corporate aviation market, having held senior leadership positions at four of the world’s 25 largest OEM manufacturers: Gulfstream Aerospace, Bombardier Aerospace, British Aerospace and Hawker Beechcraft. He also has operating experience in the MRO and charter management segments of the business aviation market. Mr. Vick has experience in managing private equity-backed enterprises, including all aspects of senior management and evaluating and executing acquisition targets. Mr. Vick also has significant restructuring and international expertise. Mr. Vick received a BS in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed the Oxford Air Transport Course programs at Oxford College, England.
