Mark Satran Bio

Mr. Satran is a Senior Managing Director at AE Industrial and focuses on the origination, execution, monitoring and realization of portfolio investments for the AE Industrial Partners Aerospace Opportunities Fund. Prior to joining AE Industrial in 2019, Mr. Satran spent 12 years at Alterna Capital Partners, a private equity fund focused on investments in transportation and energy assets, as a Managing Director overseeing Alterna’s mid-life and end-of-life aircraft book. Prior to Alterna, Mr. Satran was a Director at Pitney Bowes Global Credit Services, the captive finance and leasing organization for a global mailing machine, e-commerce and software provider. Prior to Pitney Bowes, Mr. Satran spent 5 years at GE Capital Vendor Financial Services, and 7 years at Citicorp Global Equipment Finance, focusing on the origination and management of vendor leasing programs. Mr. Satran’s extensive experience in aircraft and engine leasing and ownership gives AE Industrial the proper competencies in sourcing, managing and realizing premium returns in leases of both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. Mr. Satran received a BS from Babson College with a double major in finance/investments and entrepreneurial studies.
