Having invested in over 30 franchise businesses including Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Schlotzsky’s, McAlister’s Deli, Fastsigns, Cinnabon, and FOCUS Brands, he understands how to identify and scale successful emerging franchise concepts. Scott was the co-founder of BIP Capital, a venture capital firm focused in a variety of industries including franchising, software, healthcare, media and financial services. Prior to BIP Capital, Scott was a partner at Roark Capital Group, where he was directly responsible for sourcing and closing multiple investments. Additionally, Scott held leadership roles with U.S. Franchise Systems, The Walt Disney Company and Dow Chemical USA.
