Bio

Matt Gilbert is a vice president at XMS Capital Partners, based in Boston, Massachusetts. He is responsible for coverage and M&A execution across multiple industries, with a focus on the life sciences and industrial sectors. Matt began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. in Chicago and joined XMS in 2016. In 2018, he relocated and opened XMS’ Boston office. Matt has completed advisory assignments for a diverse range of clients, including Federal-Mogul/Icahn Enterprises, Hennessy Capital, Philips, O’Neal Industries and ORX Exploration. Matt graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2013 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance.
