Andrew Charbin is a Managing Director at The Sage Group, having joined in 2013, and is responsible for leading the firm’s beauty & personal care advisory practice and its New York office. Former clients Andrew has advised include ORIBE in its sale to Kao, jane iredale in its sale to San Francisco Equity Partners, Cosmetic Solutions in its sale to Lee Equity Partners, BH Cosmetics in its sale to MidOcean Partners, Vita Liberata in its sale to Crown Laboratories, GLAMGLOW in its sale to Estée Lauder, alice + olivia in its sale of a minority stake to SK USA, and Mackage in its sale to InterLuxe, among others. Andrew is a member of the CEW Small Business Advisory platform where he provides M&A guidance to entrepreneurs and company owners. Previously, Andrew was at L’Oréal in skincare new product development and marketing, and in corporate development. Prior to L’Oréal, Andrew was at Thomas Weisel Partners, in investment banking, where he focused on branded consumer companies, with a particular focus on the personal care sector. Andrew received his M.B.A. from INSEAD and B.A. degree from Brown University.
