Bio

Simon graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Commerce and holds a Masters in Finance degree from London Business School. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte & Touche. Prior to joining Stamford Partners, Simon was a Director in the M&A team at UBS Warburg, involved in the execution of transactions predominantly in the retail and consumer goods sector. He previously worked for the corporate finance division of Standard Bank London where he focused on cross-border M&A. Simon joined Stamford Partners in 2003 and has since advised on a significant number of corporate development, disposal, acquisition and other assignments for corporate clients including United Biscuits, Premier Foods, Unilever, private equity clients including Lion Capital, CapVest and Bridgepoint Capital and entrepreneurial and family owned companies including Jordans and William Jackson.
