Bio

Kristin Allen is a Managing Director in our Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Group, with extensive experience advising wireless infrastructure companies. She also has expertise in broadcasting and certain other media sectors. She joined the Firm in 2020. Over the course of her 30-plus year career, Ms. Allen has advised on a broad range of domestic and international advisory and capital markets transactions. These include, among others, advising on the initial formation and spin-off of American Tower, Crown Castle’s $1.6B sale of its Australian business, and Viom Networks’ sale of a 51% stake to American Tower for cash and debt totaling $1.9B. Additional transactions include representing IHS on its acquisition of Zain Kuwait’s tower portfolio, advising Providence Equity-owned Grupo TorreSur on the $460MM sale of a Brazilian Tower portfolio to SBA and advising CDPQ on its investment in Vertical Bridge. Ms. Allen’s media transactions include advising Clear Channel Outdoor on the sale of its 51% ownership stake in its Chinese subsidiary, Clear Media; representing BC Partners and CPPIB on the $2.5B acquisition of Suddenlink and advising a private equity sponsor consortium on the $14B acquisition of Univision. Prior to joining PJ SOLOMON, Ms. Allen was at Credit Suisse, where she served as a Managing Director in the firm’s TMT Group, as well as Vice Chair of Investment Banking. She headed sector coverage for wireless tower infrastructure and broadcasting. Ms. Allen launched her career in 1986 as a Summer Associate at The First Boston Corporation, which was later acquired by Credit Suisse.Ms. Allen earned a BA degree in Economics from Brown University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Education
