Mr. Simone is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RenCap Securities, Inc. in New York City, and Renaissance Capital Limited (RCL) in London. In New York, Mr. Simone leads a team of sales and trading professionals responsible for the distribution and trading of both equity and fixed income products. In London, he is responsible for overseeing the business and brokerage initiatives of RCL. In addition, Mr. Simone is responsible for all regulatory, financial and governance matters related to the US and London entities. Prior to joining Renaissance Capital in 2008, Mr. Simone was Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer for Investec Securities in New York, where he was responsible for the sales, trading and financial operations of the US broker dealer for Investec. Previously, he worked for Ryan, Beck & Co, a full-service broker dealer, as Chief Financial Officer (2000-2007). Mr. Simone started his investment banking career at Neuberger Berman in New York (1991-1999). He holds an accounting degree from the University of Scranton and an MBA from Fordham University.
