James qualified first time as a prize winning Chartered Accountant and began working on corporate finance transactions in 2003. He joined RSM Tenon Plc. the specialist adviser to entrepreneurs and has worked on over 50 transactions. He has completed a wide range of transactions including fundraising, management buyouts and disposals across a range of sectors including technology, professional services and leisure typically ranging in value from £1 to £30m. He holds the Corporate Finance Diploma qualification from the ICAEW. James has built numerous financial models for clients which model the key business drivers and visually illustrate the effects of business changes on financial performance. These business models have clear assumptions pages which can be altered by clients to review different scenarios and have been used to demonstrate the viability of acquisitions, restructuring, buy-outs, the benefits of growth capital on businesses and as a change management tool.
