Bio

Luke Korta is a Managing Director at Philpott Ball & Werner (PB&W), an investment bank providing transaction advisory services for middle market companies and private equity groups in the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. Luke joined PB&W as an Analyst in 2007. He now co-leads the firm’s commercial aerospace, business and jet and general aviation practice with a focus on companies providing aircraft component and system design, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) and distribution. Luke is responsible for the origination, management and execution of strategic transactions, including company sales, corporate divestitures and acquisitions. Clients advised by Luke range from large publicly traded corporations and founder/family-owned businesses to private equity groups. In addition to transaction advisory services, Luke has completed numerous strategic analyses, fairness opinions and corporate valuations. Prior to joining PB&W, Luke was employed by a large multi-national brokerage firm. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics.
