Scott Jens is a Managing Director and Executive in Residence at Pax Capital Partners. As a serial entrepreneur and seasoned SaaS operator, Scott provides strategic and operational guidance to Pax Consulting clients. Prior to joining Pax, Scott was the CEO and Co-Founder of RevolutionEHR, the eye care industry’s first SaaS-based Electronic Health Record (“EHR”) platform. Within seven years of the Company’s founding, Scott and his team successfully scaled the business to serve over 1,000 practices across North America. In 2014, RevolutionEHR underwent a majority recapitalization led by a private equity consortium. Following the transaction, Scott continued as the Company’s CEO for four years before retiring in December 2018. Scott began his career as a Doctor of Optometry, where he spent twenty-five years building a multi-doctor, multi-location eye clinic group in Madison, WI. Scott currently serves as Chief of the Board for ThirdSpace, and a Board Observer for SmartUQ. In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Cheryl, and grown children, Blake, Shay, and Bryn.
