Dean Callas is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Pax Capital Partners. Dean has an extensive background working with internet, software, and technology-enabled service companies as an investment banker, venture investor and company operator. Prior to Pax, Dean worked in Wells Fargo’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications investment banking group where he advised public and private technology companies on more than $10 billion of IPO, M&A, and capital market transactions. Prior to Wells Fargo, Dean was the CFO and COO of Canvs AI, a SaaS-based emotion measurement platform used by the world's largest media and entertainment brands. Dean started his career in the M&A group of Arbor Advisors, where he advised founders of software companies on the sale of their businesses. He is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Corsair Venture Fund, a seed-stage investment fund focused on emerging technology companies. In his spare time, Dean enjoys making hand-made pasta recipes with his wife Nora.
