Nate Belden is a member of Partnership Capital Growths Investment Committee and joined PCGI in the Fall of 2010. Prior to joining PCGI, Nate successfully fulfilled a number of private equity roles during his 16 years with American Industrial Partners (“AIPâ€). Responsibilities included negotiating merger and acquisition transactions, performing strategic and operational roles within portfolio companies, issuing public and private financing securities and advising international manufacturing expansion. Most recently Nate held titles of Managing Director, investment committee member, and CFO at AIP. While at AIP, Nate oversaw $1 billion of industrial services and manufacturing assets encompassing, machinery & equipment manufacturing, design and engineering services, logistics, renewable energy and leading-edge plastics recycling. Nate had direct investment responsibility for $145.5 million in transactions that generated a 3.5x return on cash and a 61.6% gross IRR. Prior to AIP, Nate was an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions group at Kidder Peabody in New York. A native of Colorado, Nate grew up on a horse farm near Boulder. An active volunteer, Nate currently focuses his efforts on improving the lives of orphans near Arusha, Tanzania. Nate holds a B.S. in finance, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
