Alexander Gerstung is an Operating Partner of Olympia Capital Partners. He is a former Authorized Signatory and Risk Analyst for Institutional and Commercial Banking Clients as well as an Asset Manager for Institutional clients with 15 years of professional experience in these commercial banking segments. He also has over 10 years of executive leadership experience as Managing Director, CEO, COO and CRO for several German “Mittelstand” Companies throughout his tenure and directly managed companies from 120 to 4,000 employees. Alexander is holding both advisory and supervisory board mandates. During this time he has been successfully developing and restructuring business models in Western Europe, SEE, the USA and East Asia. His multi-industries-approach led him e.g. into Furniture Industry, Eyewear and Optics Industry, Foundry and Metalworking Industry, Automobile Industry or Commercial Banking and Asset Management. Alexander has a reputation for delivering and leading satisfactory solutions for companies in complex situations or a-typical product lifecycles.
