Bio

Prior to founding Northeast Capital & Advisory, Inc., and its parent company, Loomis & Co. in 1992, Mr. Loomis was the head of the Financial Institutions Group at First Albany, and had progressive levels of responsibility as a Vice President of Lyons, Zomback & Ostrowski, Inc., an Associate Vice President of Ryan, Beck & Co., and an Associate at Warburg, Paribas, Becker. At all these firms, he was responsible for corporate finance activities for financial institutions. Over the past twenty-five years, he has initiated and been involved in all phases of mergers and acquisitions, underwritings, placements, and branch transactions. Additionally, he had extensive commercial banking experience at Banc One Corporation. Mr. Loomis received his B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Cornell University. He has lectured at Cornell, made frequent presentations at various banking seminars and national conventions, and is regularly quoted in such periodicals as The American Banker, The Bank Director, and U.S. Banker.
