Paul Mariani is a managing director in Mesirow Financial’s Investment Banking group. He is responsible for developing key relationships, leading deal teams throughout the transaction process and providing advisory services on middle-market M&A assignments within the food, beverage and agribusiness sector. Paul has more than 18 years of experience as an investment banker with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, and capital formation transactions (both public, and private equity and debt). Over the course of his career, Paul has advised clients on more than 70 engagements. Prior to joining Mesirow Financial in 2018, he spent several years as a senior banker at KPMG Corporate Finance LLC, focusing on the food and agribusiness industry. Paul currently serves on the board of Naturally Chicago, an affiliate of the Boulder-based Naturally Network, an organization focused on building a more sustainable food system. Paul earned his MBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis and his BA from the University of Michigan. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 licenses.
