David DiMatteo is a Managing Director in Mesirow Investment Banking and is based in London. He focuses on pan-European mandates across Mesirow’s core sectors and is responsible for developing key relationships, leading deal teams throughout the transaction process and providing advisory services on middle-market M&A assignments. David has more than 20 years of experience in investment banking. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2019, he was a Senior M&A Banker at ING where he ran the London based execution team for several years and was Co-Chairman of the Valuation & Corporate Governance Committee. He has worked across Europe in various sectors including in particular packaging, technology and business services. Prior to ING, David worked as an M&A Banker at Rothschild, before which he was in leveraged finance for the French bank Union Europeenne de CIC. David started his career as a Mutual Fund Accountant for the Pioneer Group in the U.S.
