Chris Shaw, Senior Managing Director & Head of European Investment Banking, has over 25 years of global energy investment banking advisory experience. Mr. Shaw has been based in London for the past 21 years where he has advised clients across Europe, the Middle East and Asia on over $200bn of M&A and capital raise transactions across the energy value chain. Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Mr. Shaw led the build out of Moelis & Company’s global energy advisory franchise. During this time, Mr. Shaw advised on a number of strategic transactions reshaping the global energy sector, including over $50bn of Middle East energy infrastructure monetization’s to strategic and financial investors. Before Moelis & Company, Mr. Shaw held senior positions with the Schroders/Citi and Barclays energy investment banking teams. Mr. Shaw holds a BBA with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Emory University. In addition to London, Mr. Shaw has lived and worked in New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Melbourne.
