Andrew qualified with Ernst & Young in 1987 and spent two years in Corporate Recovery before specialising in corporate finance from 1989. Andrew left Ernst & Young in 1992 to set up HMT. Andrew’s expertise is both in respect of transaction support and corporate finance with a particular emphasis on buy side work. Whilst Andrew’s transaction support experience includes a significant amount of private equity work, he has also undertaken a significant amount of reconstruction and viability work which included an 18 month assignment reviewing some 30 portfolio businesses for a major UK high street bank during the last recession.
