Claire Gruppo co-founded Gruppo, Levey & Co. in 1992, after nearly 12 years working in the publishing and direct marketing industries. Since co-founding the firm, Claire has initiated and directed transactions and advisory assignments in every segment of the direct marketing industry. She has worked with multi-channel retailers, specialty publishers, B2B distributors, marketing services companies and numerous private equity firms. Claire has been a frequent guest on CNBC and Fox Business News commenting on M & A trends and analysis and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Claire has held various senior management positions in the direct marketing divisions of large publishing companies throughout her career. Notably, she served as Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at American Express Publishing where she evaluated dozens of acquisitions as part of building a marketing business focused on publishing and affinity opportunities for marketing to the American Express cardholder database. Claire graduated with a B.A. in English from Wesleyan University.
