Bio

Derek Bentley is a Partner in the New York office of GCA. He has several years of experience as both a principal investor and strategic advisor, having executed numerous M&A, corporate finance, and project finance transactions for single assets and asset portfolios, as well as large and small public and private entities across a broad range of industries. Derek is a registered representative of the Broker Dealer, Greentech Capital Advisors Securities, LLC. Derek joined GCA from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a Director in the Energy & Power group within Investment Banking. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Derek was involved in the launching of Hydro Capital Corporation, a private equity investment firm created as a growth platform for the development and acquisition of highly structured international infrastructure projects in under-served markets. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University, where he was a four-year member of the varsity football team and earned All-Ivy League honors as a running back
