Ivo Polten, a Managing Director at goetzpartners, is co-head of the Industrials Industry Group as well as part of the TMT team. With nearly twenty years of M&A experience Mr Polten has a broad expertise in the execution of both buy-side and sell-side transactions, both domestically and internationally. Ivo Polten co-leads goetzpartners' industrial sector practise having done, amongst others, numerous carve-out transactions for industrial clients. Furthermore, he has a profound IT Software & Services specialization and covers the German and European mid-market private equity houses. After his traineeship at Deutsche Bank, Mr Polten started his professional career in the M&A department at KPMG Corporate Finance in Frankfurt/Main in 2000. After 5 years at KPMG, where he worked as a manager, he joined goetzpartners in Munich in 2005. Ivo Polten has a diploma in Business Administration from the Berlin School of Economics and Law. He is a CFA charterholder and CFA Institute member.
