Bio

Rich Jasen is a Managing Director at GCA Savvian and Co-Head of the Capital Markets Group and is a member of The Management Committee. He joined the firm in 2004 and has 17 years of experience assisting growth companies raise equity and debt capital. In his role at the firm, Rich sources and executes private capital transactions, primarily focusing on digital media, technology and other high growth companies. Through his career, Rich has advised on almost 100 transactions, raising more than $4 billion. His clients have included Zynga, Legendary Pictures, ReachLocal, FastClick, XOJet, and TOA Technologies. His investor relationship network spans from early stage venture capitalists to growth-focused private equity, later-stage buyout firms, and cross-over hedge funds. In addition, he works with lenders at all levels of the balance sheet. Prior to joining GCA Savvian, he was at SoundView Technology Group, leading the firm’s west coast private equity effort. Previously, Rich worked in corporate finance at Lehman Brothers and served as a corporate attorney with a Silicon Valley practice at Cooley Godward, advising startups and working with venture capitalists. Rich graduated Phi Beta Kappa in business and economics from UCLA and received a JD with honors from the University of Chicago Law School. He has served as a board member and advisory board member for several of his clients and regularly speaks at industry events about raising private capital.
