André is a Managing Director covering Japan-U.S. cross-border M&A transactions, and has been focused primarily on the following sectors: Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Industrial, Medtech, Personal Care and Technology. Over his 29-year investment banking career, he has led the origination and execution of over 60 cross-border M&A advisory transactions. Previously, André was a Managing Director at Sagent Advisors, LLC, where he led the firm’s Japan Asia practice in New York. Before joining Sagent, André was a Managing Director and Head of M&A at Daiwa Securities America. Prior to that, he was Head of M&A for the US and Europe for The Sakura Bank; head of North American M&A for AEG Corporation, a subsidiary of Daimler-Benz; and worked in the M&A and private equity divisions of Charterhouse in New York and London. Andre earned an MBA from New York University and a BA in Economics from Manchester University.
