Curtis Flood is a Managing Director in Evercore’s Corporate Advisory business. Mr. Flood is focused on merger and acquisition, private capital and placement and capital structure advisory across the energy sector. Mr. Flood has nearly a decade of investment banking experience advising on a wide range of transactions including corporate mergers and acquisitions, asset A&D, joint ventures, liability management, both in and out-of-court restructurings and equity and debt underwritings. Mr. Flood has advised public and private clients on more than 40 transactions totaling over $25 billion in value, including BHP Group Ltd, Chesapeake Energy, ConocoPhillips, Rice Energy, Enerplus Corporation, W&T Offshore, Northern Oil & Gas, Frank’s International, Transocean, Alliance Resource Partners, Natural Resource Partners, Eagle Rock Energy Partners, Crimson Exploration, New Fortress Energy, Kimbell Royalty Partners, Double Eagle Energy Holdings, Sheridan Holding Company I & II, EnerVest, Caerus Oil and Gas, Chaparral Energy and Templar Energy. Prior to joining Evercore in 2014, Mr. Flood was an associate for Barclays in its Global Natural Resources Group in Houston. Prior to that, he was a Professional Staff Member with the U.S. House of Representatives, Select Committee on Intelligence. He served concurrently with the U.S. Navy Reserves as an Intelligence Officer which included a tour in northern Iraq. Mr. Flood received a B.A. from Georgetown University, an M.A. from the Naval War College and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
