Bio

Mark joined Discount Capital in 2018 and serves as the Head of Investment Banking. In this role, Mark oversees the advisory business of the firm including M&A transactions and corporate finance advisory. Mark benefits from over 18 years of investment banking and investment management experience including over 10 years at bulge bracket investment banks (Morgan Stanley, Citi and Scotia Capital). Mark brings a strong track record of global transactions having advised on transactions with an aggregate value of more than $7 billion. Mark also spent 4 years running a private investment company on behalf of a private investor focusing on venture capital investments in innovative technology companies. Mark holds an MBA and an Honors Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
