James McLain is a Managing Director with Coker Capital Advisors. Over the last 15 years, Mr. McLain has initiated and completed numerous successful strategic and financial transactions for healthcare services companies in subsectors such as diagnostic labs, specialty providers, payor services, in-vitro diagnostics and critical care, and other medical products. Prior to joining Coker Capital Advisors, Mr. McLain worked for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., where he led the M&A Advisory practice for healthcare services companies. Previously, he held positions in the healthcare investment banking group at Jefferies & Company and the industrials group at Credit Suisse First Boston. He began his career as a financial analyst in investment banking at Smith Barney. Mr. McLain graduated cum laude with Honors from Williams College, holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a CFA charterholder. Mr. McLain lives in Bronxville, New York with his wife and two daughters.
