Andy is Catalyst’s Managing Partner. His role is predominantly client facing, both leading and working alongside other partners in the delivery of our services to clients.With a corporate finance career spanning over 25 years, Andy has advised a wide range of clients on both UK and international transactions. Recent deals include the sales of Shimtech Industries to Auctus Industries, Allen Ford to South Africa's Super Group, Celerant to Hitachi and Soreen to Samworth Brothers, and private equity/debt capital transactions for Foster + Partners, Sofa Brands International and Aspen Pumps. He has particular knowledge and expertise of Human Capital businesses, such as consultancies and professional services firms, and of advising private equity, bank consortia and other complex shareholder structures.Andy has been instrumental in the development of Mergers Alliance, Catalyst’s international partnership organisation, and plays a lead role in ensuring Catalyst’s global reach continues to deliver for all our clients. An alumni of Leicester University, Andy qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse, (now PwC) and had a spell in industry with a listed building services firm prior to the formation of Catalyst in 1998.
