Mark L. Claster is the President of Carl Marks & Co. He brings more than 30 years of executive and leadership experience to the firm. As President of Carl Marks & Co., Mr. Claster holds an advisory role in the firm’s investment businesses and has served as an investment committee member for more than 100 investment transactions. He has also served as General Partner of Carl Marks’ two small business investment companies and serves on the firm’s investment committees. Mr. Claster began his career as an attorney with Olin & Philips, specializing in corporate and individual tax law and estate planning. He holds a BBA with honors from Ohio University, a JD from Hofstra University Law School and an LLM in Taxation from NYU Law School. He holds the following securities registrations: Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99.
