Bio

Marcelo Kalim is Board member and co-CEO of BTG Pactual. Mr Kalim is based in São Paulo. Marcelo Kalim joined Banco Pactual in 1996 and became a partner in 1998. He was a director at Pactual responsible for investments until 2008 when he left to found BTG. He then became Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Kalim holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School and received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of São Paulo.
