Ruud van Hoek is director at Boer & Croon Corporate Finance where he specifically focuses on the food & agri sector and consumer and retail industries. Within the Clair Field International alliance he was co-head of the Consumer & Retail sector group. Ruud has 20 years of M & A experience at Holland Corporate Finance / M & A International, Deloitte Corporate Finance and Rabo Securities / Rabobank International. He has various food (retail) companies advised on merger and acquisition matters: Royal Ahold, Laurus, Macintosh, Wessanen Royal Cosun, Nutreco, Hendrix Genetics, Monaghan Mushrooms, Baarsma Wine Group, Brandenburg Culinary, RefrescoGerber and United Coffee. He also has several transactions accompanied where a large number of Dutch private equity firms and financial institutions were involved, such as: Parcom, Gilde Equity Management, Holland Ventures, AAC Capital, GIMV H2 Equity Partners, ABN Amro Units Bencis, ING Bank and KAS Bank. Ruud has completed his degree in business economics from the University of Tilburg.
