Darren brings more than two decades of senior banking experience to his role as Head of Investment Banking, ATB Capital Markets, and Senior Vice President, Business, at ATB Financial. This experience, combined with his postgraduate work in economics and trade policy, enables Darren keen insight and ability to measure and manage overall customer and market risk. Darren is also a firm believer in providing a holistic, big picture perspective which helps ensure an enhanced customer experience. Before his present role, Darren was Vice President of Corporate Financial Services at ATB Financial where his passion for clients and leadership led the teams to meet and exceed corporate goals. Outside of work, Darren remains a diehard Riders fan from growing up in Saskatchewan and is married with two daughters and a son.
