Sam Barden is a Director at AQ Technology Partners where he focuses on M&A, growth capital raising, and strategic advisory for software and software-enabled businesses. Sam has nearly ten years of investment banking and strategic advisory experience, has closed dozens of transactions across various software subsectors (e.g., marketing technology, ERP, cybersecurity, HCM) and across select vertical software segments (e.g., oil & gas, healthcare, real estate, manufacturing). Prior to joining AQ, Sam was a Director at Pagemill Partners focused on investment banking and advisory services in the technology sector. Prior to Pagemill, Sam worked in the Corporate Finance group of Duff & Phelps in Chicago. Sam is originally from Chicago and graduated with honors from Miami University with a degree in Finance.
