Jason Baker, the Founder and Managing Director of Alpine, has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development and consulting. He has executed over 35 M&A transactions as an advisor to buyers and sellers and as a corporate development professional. He has also advised corporations on matters related to strategy, growth opportunities, valuation, merger integration and operations. His industry experience lies primarily in the healthcare technology and services sectors. Prior to founding Alpine, Jason was a Managing Director of Healthcare Growth Partners, LLC. HGP is an investment banking firm focused on the healthcare technology and services sectors. While at HGP, Jason represented owners of businesses in M&A transactions and advised corporations in acquisition searches, transaction execution and strategy consulting projects. Jason has also served as the head corporate development executive for Cerner Corporation. Cerner is the leading developer and supplier of information technology solutions for the healthcare industry. While at Cerner, Jason identified strategic growth opportunities and led transaction teams focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate partnerships. Cerner executed ten M&A transactions and numerous partnerships during Jason's tenure leading the corporate development efforts. Prior to joining Cerner, Jason was an investment banker at George K. Baum & Company and led the firm's healthcare practice. While at GKB, he led transaction teams focused on mergers and acquisitions, private placements and public offerings. Jason also has experience designing and implementing information systems for Andersen Consulting (Accenture). Jason earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.
