Tom Elzey co-founded Alexander Hutton in 1986. Mr. Elzey has worked with mid-sized Northwest corporations in both investment and commercial banking capacities for over 25 years. As a corporate finance specialist, he has completed dozens of corporate debt placements, and he has advised and completed over 50 mergers and acquisition transactions. In addition to his merger and acquisition work, his experience includes leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and venture capital. A former commercial banker, Mr. Elzey spent 13 years as a corporate lender with Seafirst and Rainier Banks, and he was a Vice President and Commercial Loan Department Manager for Standard Chartered Bank. He is a past member of the President’s Club of Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, board member and treasurer of Seattle Executives Association and a past board member of Family Services. He holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound and earned his MBA with an emphasis in finance from Seattle University, where he currently serves on the MBA Advisory Board and the University Board of Regents.
