Bio

David brings 25 years of experience and a distinguished M&A track record to Aeris Partners. He has extensive experience advising SaaS, application and infrastructure software, business information, and technology-enabled services companies and is particularly focused on high growth industry sectors, including healthcare (HCIT), architecture, engineering & construction (AEC), education, transportation, financial services (FinTech), energy, legal and government IT. David has advised leading private equity, venture capital, publicly traded and founder-owned technology companies on domestic and cross-border strategic M&A, leveraged buyouts and growth equity recapitalizations. Representative transactions include the sale of iSqFt and BidClerk to Genstar Capital; the sale of On Center Software to Roper Technologies; the sale of Manatron to Thomson Reuters; the sale of GatewayEDI to TriZetto; the sale of HealthMedia to Johnson & Johnson; the sale of MedData to TransUnion; the sale of Aderant to Vista Equity; the sale of Mantas to Oracle (i-flex); and the sale of JBoss to Red Hat. Before Aeris Partners, David was recruited to launch and build the technology practice at Harris Williams & Co., where he served as Managing Director and Co-Head of technology investment banking and was appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President with Broadview International (later Jefferies Broadview) and a Manager with Accenture’s PeopleSoft practice. David also co-founded and completed a 4,100 mile cross-country bicycling and fundraising event in support of cancer research, education and prevention and was recognized as a “40 under 40” investment banking professional by Investment Dealers’ Digest (IDD) in 2006. David received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, as an Austin Scholar, and a BA in Economics/Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.
