Peta Thompson Bio

Peta Thompson has corporate advisory and mergers and acquisitions experience. She acts for major Australian and international companies across a range of industries, including the arts and entertainment, sports, retirement village and property sectors. She has advised on both domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, partnerships, joint ventures and restructures. Peta also provides general corporate and commercial advice in relation to issues ranging from compliance with the Corporations Act, the ASX Listing Rules and the Competition and Consumer Act through to the drafting and negotiation of a wide variety of contracts. Peta was acknowledged by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific (2018 & 2019) for her work in the Corporate and M&A space, where she has been quoted as “committed, empathetic“.
