Ruchun Ji Bio

Ruchun Ji primarily focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financings, joint ventures and public securities offerings. Ruchun represents corporations, private equity sponsors and venture capital investors in the United States, China and other Asia countries in domestic and cross-border investments, divestitures and acquisitions, both inbound and outbound. He regularly counsels emerging and innovative companies in the life sciences, healthcare and technology industries throughout their lifecycles. Ruchun’s experience also includes advising public companies on corporate governance, disclosure and other SEC compliance matters. Prior to joining Sidley, Ruchun was an associate and counsel with another international law firm in its Silicon Valley office for seven years and Shanghai and Beijing offices for four years. Earlier in his career, Ruchun practiced as a licensed lawyer in China at one of the premier Chinese law firms for over two years.
