Raymond Oh Bio

Raymond Oh is co-leader of Sidley’s M&A and Private Equity group in Asia and deputy co-head of our multidisplinary China Corporate and Finance practice. He focuses on M&A, Private Equity, and corporate finance transactions in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. His practice spans the region, and he regularly advises private equity funds, multinational corporates, and financial institutions on public and private M&A transactions, including preferred equity investments, takeovers, privatizations, joint ventures, PIPE transactions, and structured finance transactions. Raymond is a leading lawyer in Hong Kong recognized for M&A and private equity practice by IFLR1000. He is also recommended by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, and the book described him as being “singled out for particular praise” in the private equity category. China Business Law Journal named Raymond Oh to its 2019 and 2020“A-List” of China’s Elite 100 Lawyers (Foreign Firms) for two consecutive years.
