Parthiv Rishi Bio

Parthiv Rishi has over 16 years of experience advising on a wide range of cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, investments, divestments, venture capital financings, restructurings, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements. Parthiv advises a diverse range of clients, with a particular focus on private equity houses and other financial sponsor clients and their portfolio companies. Parthiv has recently worked on deals across the region, including in Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar and India. Parthiv is recognized as a Next Generation Partner for Corporate and M&A in Singapore by Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2020. He is also named “Best Lawyer” in the Singapore chapter of The Best Lawyers (2022). Prior to joining Sidley, Parthiv was a partner at a Magic Circle law firm where he led their Southeast Asia financial sponsor practice. He had previously practiced in their London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore offices.
