Noreen Phelan Bio

Noreen Phelan is a partner in Sidley’s energy group. She has extensive experience representing energy clients in complex tax equity and debt financings, project and portfolio acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures and other investment arrangements. Noreen counsels market leading private equity and strategic investors, governmental entities and major developers in connection with wind, solar, hydroelectric and other alternative energy projects and conventional power generation facilities in all stages of their life cycle. Noreen is named by Chambers as a recognized practitioner for Projects: Power & Renewables: Transactional. Prior to joining Sidley, Noreen was an Energy and Infrastructure partner at another major international law firm.
