Thao Ngo Bio

Thao Ngo is a member of Reed Smith’s Business & Finance department. Thao has extensive experience counseling clients with the formation and day-to-day operations of hedge funds and private equity funds, both domestic and offshore. Further, he has assisted clients with the formation of both state and SEC-registered investment advisory firms as well as the formation of broker-dealers and their registration with FINRA. He has also counseled clients with CFTC rules relating to CPO and CTA registration, and the formation of commodity pools. He is a frequent speaker on investment company and investment advisory legal issues.
