Sam Webster Bio

Sam Webster is a partner in the firm’s Global Corporate Group in London, focusing on M&A and Private Equity transactions. He advises corporates, financial sponsors, institutional investors and management teams on all aspects of M&A and investment transactions, both domestically and, more typically, cross-border. He has led cross-office and cross-practice teams on numerous acquisitions, disposals, buyouts, add-on deals, growth equity and venture capital investments. Sam is recommended as a key individual for M&A and Private Equity by Legal 500, with the 2022 edition describing Sam as "extremely commercial", and someone who "grasps and distils complex issues quickly and efficiently". The 2021 edition of Legal 500 recommends Sam in its Private Equity category, noting his "ability to understand the key commercial objectives of the parties", further noting that "Sam was able to co-ordinate a multi-jurisdictional team to an extremely tight timetable across multiple time zones".
