Susan Berry Bio

Susan Berry focuses on commercial financing and other business transactions, with an emphasis on the energy industry. As a partner in our Corporate, Finance and Investments practice, she advises financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a variety of complex lending matters, including reserve-based loans to oil and gas companies, asset-based loans involving diverse collateral and across many industries, syndicated facilities with multiple lien priorities, unsecured loans and leveraged acquisitions. Her practice also includes recapitalizations, workouts, restructurings and DIP financings. In 2016, Susan was seconded to act as in-house counsel to the energy banking division of Capital One following the commodity price downturn. Susan further has experience advising clients in connection with various types of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, project finance transactions and general corporate matters.
