Lukas Bopp Bio

Lukas Bopp focuses on domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration, attachment of assets, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and insolvency proceedings. Lukas Bopp represent foreign creditors in Swiss related insolvency proceedings and supports foreign trustees in the recovery of assets located in Switzerland. He is Co-Head of the litigation and insolvency practice group. Lukas Bopp also advises clients in a variety of other areas including corporate law, contract law, labour law and international insolvency law. He publishes on issues relating to bankruptcy, conflicts of law and litigation. His doctoral thesis on International Reorganization has been awarded with the Prof. Walther Hug Award and the Award of the Swiss Enforcement of Debts and Bankruptcy Law Association.
