John Kinchen Bio

John is an experienced trial lawyer who heads the firm’s litigation practice. He advises clients in a wide variety of litigation areas, with particular expertise in commercial litigation, securities litigation, regulatory compliance, internal investigations, executive compensation, and white collar criminal investigations and prosecutions Prior to joining the firm, John was a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s office in Houston where he successfully prosecuted white collar crime and public corruption. John brings significant first chair trial experience in both federal and state forums. Most recently, John was a lead trial counsel in the federal multi-district trial of the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico. John represents clients in various industries, including energy, financial services, health care, real estate, telecommunications, and automobile manufacturing.
